Das Boot

Yarım kavunun yanına beyaz peynir dilimledikten sonra iki duble rakının eşliğinde Wolfgang Petersen'in 1981 yapımı şaheser "Das Boot"filmini izledim. İnanılmaz sürükleyici bir gerilim ve heyecanla geçen saatlerden sonra çok keyiflice uyudum (3.30am). İnsanın tüylerini diken diken eden gerçekçilikteki filmde, herhangi bir anda birisinin "alarm" diye bağırdığını düşünmek bana suyun altında yaşanabilecek korku dolu saatleri hatırlatıyor. Hisslerime tercüman olsun diye aşağıdaki alıntıyı uygun gördüm:

"This is a blind war, were you only see with your ears. A world of fragility, a spotted submarine is a very easy prey. This is not your average, heroic war movie. This is not about heroes or super-cool soldiers. For a start the movie shows the difference between pre-German officers (they loath the Nazis) and mostly about the inhuman world of a war submarine. Everything depends on the fragile material and very abstracts strategy. DAS BOOT is essentially a psychological movie, almost a survival. This is a place of promiscuity, filth, boredom, terror and men reserved."
